We had a leisurely day today, just walking around stopping to eat and drink. There weren't as many cars or motorbikes today so much more pleasant to walk around. Our first stop was in the beautiful piazza del duomo. The coffee was great and very reasonably priced. ... Every night he has wanted it but no one has had it. It has been on the menu in most places but when he asked for it they have said sorry, finished or not tonight. Anyway he said it was really good. It was bucatini with lots of sardines, wild fennel and toasted breadcrumbs. Another beautiful morning. Breakfast was served at 8.30 with croissants, lemon cake, honey dew, fruit juice, yoghurt etc etc..a full spread! Now driving to Palermo which is the capital of Sicily.
