Spello is quite small, yet we spent at least two hours just ambling through the streets. The town is in the throes of its preparations for its annual festival, Le Infiorate and is covered in flowers. Apparently they lay flower tapestries on the streets and then there's a procession through it. It starts on Saturday evening and ends on Sunday so we'll definitely be aiming to catch some of that.

One thing that was very typically Italian was the guys. Gill and I would walk the strip by the beach and I don't think we've ever been honked at so many times in our lives! It was insane but hilarious. I think Italian guys are like that though. I was lucky enough to become friends with great and sweet Italians. All in all..it was a wonderfully relaxing trip. :) ...
