After our tour/walk (more walking) we ate at a nearby restaurant where we finally got a pizza. We ate outside under the largest wisteria vine I have ever seen. It's trunk was probably 1.5 ft wide. Taylor decided he would like to try to drive to the beach so we drove 20 minutes almost to Salerno. It's a ...

Despite the fact that most of these towns don’t really have a whole lot to offer, I think I might come back someday and explore some more. I’ve had a number of interesting encounters with people, and since just about every town has it’s little plaza, it’s a very relaxed area to wander ...

... Finally we take a break from strumming, singing and dancing—and introduce ourselves. Two of them are from *****ia, and the other from Ghana. We talk a little bit about their countries. There are no sexual connotations to our interaction—they don’t see me as a potential customer, but rather just a wandering minstrel who has brought music and brief happiness to their lives.

I’d better get going if I want to reach Marcianise before ...
