... just beginning to open. I found the Dionysisus Wine Bar, which enticed Ed in. We had a coffee and cookie while we checked e-mail, facebook, etc. By the time we finished it was 11:30, surely time for a taste of the local wine. We arrived in Corfu in quite heavy rain. We had organized a hire car for €43 which was very reasonable, and decided we would continue on with our plans. We drove to Paleokastritsa Bay which would have been beautiful on a nice day with a very rugged coastline and beaches. There was a monastery that we walked to with raincoats and umbrellas and viewed the inside of the church. Greek churches have flat ceilings and are decorated ...

Day 46 - Corfu Greek Island
This morning we were up early to participate in a behind the scenes ship tour we signed up for. There was only room for a maximum of 40 passengers. The cost of the tour was about £35pp. Toby had complained about having to pay to tour the ship. On the P&O it is free. Anyway I wanted to do it so i signed us up. This morning we both reluctantly rolled out of bed and met the tour group at the theatre. We learnt about the ...
