... but we chose the walk through the gorge. Fabulous mountain scenery with Griffon vultures circling overhead. The once remote village is now has bars and restaurants catering for the walkers and the tourists coming up on the train.

A short walk up from the village is the mirador for Picu Urriellu also known as the Naranjo de Bulnes.

It's cloudy today. Valley is filled with clouds and mists. We have more strength now and wanted to try a longer hike. We picked the hike between Tresviso and San Esteban roughly about 3.7 miles long with moderate difficulty.

... was WOW, one of the most picturesque hikes we've done... Amazing vistas of high peaks, deep valleys and green pastures in between. We very much enjoyed the way down. Greg was already so happy that he was fine if he had to go home the next day. :)
