You ar not allowed in the small streets, the main gates are closed but it is easy to get around those etc. It is a sad story, because during the earthquake the entire village was destroyed and left in that state and a new village was build a few kilometers aside. We sat for awhile and marveled at this amazing natural wonder!
The second interesting attraction was the Valley of the Temples.
This is up on a ridge with many Greek temples and ruins dating from 500 BC.
Very impressive historical ruins.
