We had a good nights sleep and woke up to breakfast. The owner had bought us 2 ham rolls and 2 crosaunts with poppers and milk there is a coffee machine in the room. We packed our bags and walked through the dirty streets to the The Capuchin Catacombes. Which is basically a cemetery where the people stand up on display. The first monk was put here in 1599. ... so that's what we got. We headed back to our hotel, opened a bottle of Rosé we had bought with us from Syracusa, and enjoyed the last bit of sunshine. For dinner tonight, we drove to the strip along the beach where we went this afternoon and had a lovely simple meal of grilled swordfish for me and Fettuccine Ragu for Jack. ... destination into Harry and at 8.30 am we were on our way. For just about the entire trip to Villa Romana, we had a smoking Mt Etna in view. It was an amazing site. At one point, we actually witnessed a huge plume of smoke spurt from the peak. I captured it on my iPad.
