    ... of the various events were awarded a wreath of olive leaves. It was a great honor the win one of these events and the winners lived in glory and honor the rest of their lives.. We saw the stadium where the running events took place. It held 45,000 people. There were no seats. Spectators sat or stood on the grass surrounding the field. It was really a beautiful impressive place.

    ... The ship traveled at 17 knots so there is a little more motion but for most part we are unaware that we are moving or on the ocean. We should get to Malta before 1pm tomorrow. The four of us scrubbed up for a late casual dinner that ended about 10.15pm.     Today was spent at sea, not of necessity in terms of sailing distances, but we imagine planned halfway through the trip to give passengers a rest. As many people including crew had noted, it's tough doing a new port everyday, particularly if coupled with cavorting at night.
