... we were ready to move on. We've got plenty of time to kill before we rent an apartment in Istanbul. We reserved a bus ride to Pamukkale, an ancient spa city inland about 4 hours. It's a place where people came from all over the ancient world to sit in the healing waters and enjoy the dramatic travertines, white circular pools formed naturally. If it's good enough for Roman Emperors and Cleopatra, it's good enough for us.
... beach we were advised that we couldn't go ashore as it had been privately hired for a 3 days trance party. So although we didn't get to do our hike we did get to have aother swim and watch a bunch of middle aged zombies listen and "dance" to repetitive trance music for an hour or so. The remainder of the day was spent basking in the sun on our way to another sheltered cove.
Once again we enjoyed an amazing meal and decided on a few more drinking games ...
... but to not sit until instructed. Once the wind picked up we were ready, Tash was gone and then next myself. Was a weird sensation walking amongst the rocks and then suddenly being lifted into the air, of course I went to sit too early as well and was instructed to 'keep running'. Once up and flying it was time to soak in the surroundings and the sensation of gliding over the mountains. My pilot informed me that we were 2000+ meters and could get higher when we ...
... all worthwhile. The continuous day of hitting a different club every night and tanning on sun beds during the day was perfect.
Although this holiday ended badly with almost all of our friendships falling apart, I do not regret the trip or the friendships. I had the best month in Turkey and would recommend Hisaronu/Fethiye to ...
... It was alway the freshest healthiest and yummiest food available. Every meal time everyone ate till they could eat no more but we would instantly be talking about what the next meal could be. The deserts were alway fruit platters with a twist. One night the fruit was arranged to look like a sail boat, the next night it looked like a turtle, just incredible.
Neither of us got away from sail turkey with no illness or injury. Kieran ...
