We lugged our cases up a short hill to our hotel - thank goodness these 60 something year olds are all keeping in excellent health!!!! After an early morning wake up call at 6.25am. We got up had breakfast and were on the bus at 7.30am. We had a very long drive to Fethiye, 7 hours not including stops. The route wasn't too bad as we were driving along the coast, and saw some beautiful lakes. We stopped a couple of times, for restroom breaks every few hours. The first break was a little town where I got to experience a bazaar, basically an open market of stalls of cheap stuff. I missed seeing the grand bazaar in Istanbul so ...

but anyway we cruise the markets and check out what's on offer, many of the vendors try to persuade you to visit their stall, but we just keep saying no thanks. We accidentally bumped into 4 from our boat who ...

A fantastic day. Well they are all fantastic days but this was exceptional. We had breakfast and then motored the short distance to Cleopatra Bay. Even this early it was quite crowded and we had a bit of a stand off with another boat as we headed in to find an anchorage. We were taken in very close to see the ruins of the Roman baths that were built for Cleopatra by Mark Antony. We found a berth not far from the ruins and Shane Kez and I swam ...
