We were exhausted at the top, but were greeted by other American guests in the common area that a handful of rooms walk out to. Our room has a view of many, many red rooftops, the top of St. Marks and many other bell towers and church steeples. There is a busy square below us with a bar and shopping area. We didn't know what to expect today after Milan was such a disappointment. We woke up and had a wonderful breakfast prepared by Luisa. We started with a bowl of fresh chopped up fruit and fresh juice and cold water. We had the yummiest baby croissants!
