The HAL Niew Amsterdam is a smaller ship than the Epic, about half its size, and is very nicely appointed. The cabins were beautiful and the atrium and public rooms were sophisticated and plush. ... selling tobacco products to the usa. Apparently he moved to miami with his son in the late 70's and this was the primo Cuban cigar place to get good stuff from at good prices. It smelled like cigars. We went a couple of doors down and ordered a Cuban coffee to perk us up. This was serious coffee. The lady only spoke Spanish and was super happy when I gave her 3 dollars when she had asked for "dos" dollars. The coffee is super strong and super sweet. ...

It was down to the bar for a drink, a meal in the restaurant and sweet slumber by 8.30pm.
A morning sea wall walk this morning gave us a stunning view of the ship we are to board later today. Bring on ocean travel is what we say as we are quite over flying for the moment.
