One of our surf instructors was a young Filipino girl called Karen which turned out to be the daughter of the old friendly guy from the surf shop, she spoke perfect English but with an American and hint of Caribbean accent which was pretty odd but they do all seem to have American accents over here. After a quick lesson on the sand it was out to the sea to catch some waves or try to at least! Surprisingly we was both getting the hang of it quite quick and getting up quite a ...

... City. Pay Php 10.00 for the entrance fee, walk around the grounds, read the historic landmarks, and hand your cameras to professional photographers who are skilled in taking optical illusion photos. They don't ask for a particular fee, only donations. I'm sure you'll be generous in tipping them after seeing your awesome photos with the Mayon Volcano.

NOTE: Be sure to go there on a sunny day otherwise the Mayon Volcano won't show its beauty.

It has the best sunrise view I have ever seen this side of the planet, and 3. I love the rustic, picture perfect beaches and laid back people. I'm so happy it didn't disappoint. From the moment we got the boat to boat transfer (because it was low tide and the boat couldn't get any more closer to Guijalo port), to the great view of rock formations, ...

          Feast day/ Atving

A travel blog entry by aly5ia on Sep 13, 2013

Friday: Went for a walk with Maria and stumbled across a store where I bought a skirt and pair of pj shorts for $2. It was really hot and eventually we returned home to eat lunch and head out for the Festival. It was the day for the males to carry Peñafrancia to the cathedral. We luckily went to Barb's cousins beautiful house to view the huge crowds from above - on the balcony. I have never seen so many people in my life let alone to honour a ...

... jasmine I gave myself a mini shower and felt brand new. Then it was time to wait for my plane as the sun came up I could see that the airport is built right beside the water which was something I'd never seen before. As I boarded my next flight and ended up in Manila. This is where some of my adventure began. Asians don't wait they crowd so getting my backpack from the belt was interesting I did say excuse me but I also ...
