One of our surf instructors was a young Filipino girl called Karen which turned out to be the daughter of the old friendly guy from the surf shop, she spoke perfect English but with an American and hint of Caribbean accent which was pretty odd but they do all seem to have American accents over here. Pay Php 10.00 for the entrance fee, walk around the grounds, read the historic landmarks, and hand your cameras to professional photographers who are skilled in taking optical illusion photos. NOTE: Be sure to go there on a sunny day otherwise the Mayon Volcano won't show its beauty.

It was really hot and eventually we returned home to eat lunch and head out for the Festival. It was the day for the males to carry Peñafrancia to the cathedral. We luckily went to Barb's cousins beautiful house to view the huge crowds from above - on the balcony. I have never seen so many people in my life let alone to honour a ...

... 3 after a half hour or so drive jet lag was kicking me not so gently. I managed to check my bag, walk through security, take out some money, find a lovely long bench close to my gate before stretching out and passing out. I woke up some time later to my alarm, picked up a water watched some tele and boarded the flight. I found my seat and simply remember a lovely Philippine woman tapping me to stay we are here.
