... still holds many mysteries for me, but there is one thing that is immediately obvious: their hospitality. In the street, strangers will rarely acknowledge your existence, but if they know you, they will bend over backwards to do absolutely anything for you, no matter the imposition to themselves. They gladly open their homes and rearrange their lives to accommodate family, friends, or even friends of family. The lengths they will go to knows no ...

Still not fixed so we have been typing it up in the hope we will be able to connect soon. Roger gets back about 10:30 and we have decided that the boys will catch the cable car from Argengo (which is just across the lake from Nesso) up to what we think is a ski village in winter. We trudge along ...

... felt like a quicker journey (but this is just perception really, as the sat nav had the same time if we’d driven round) but that way we could tuck into a bag of popcorn whilst being on the move :0)

All in all a very pleasant last day on this beautiful lake, tomorrow we leave and drive to Lake Como via Lake Lugano – I know, it’s all Lakes, Lakes, Lakes, but we love them!
