    We had a wee glitch with the bus today - when we 'read' the map it said it was going around the roundabout then heading in the direction we wanted ... to Cezanne's studio. But actually, it peeled off the roundabout at the very beginning of the journey and took us back in the same direction we'd just come from! Oh well, never mind ... we decided to stay on the bus, hope the driver would forget about us, ... and we'd do ...

    ... icons - Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and again some others I didn't recognise. You can imagine Philip's comments about the ones with just a red splotch on the canvas, or crossed-out arithmetic, or the one on the floor that he walked on without even realising!!!

    After all this culture we were totally exhausted and needed both Haagen Daas and more time relaxing in our room. Before we could say "J'ai faim" it was time to head out for dinner. We took Marie's advice ...
