    Cathleen invited us to spend a day at "the Rock" located in the charming seaside village of Cassis. Cassis is known for the Calanques, which are stunning rock formations that jut out into the Mediterranean. People go there to sunbathe and swim. "The Rock" is a bit of a challenge to get to, but once there quite beautiful.

    ... venture out and make our way back to the apt where we charge up all our devices, relax and plan dinner.The storm goes on for a few hours, but then it stops and the evening air is quite delightful. The plaza outside the apt starts to fill up with the young and the beautiful, which we watch from the window.
