    We allowed ourselves to sleep in today. Our first appointment wasn't until after noon but, around 11, we were ready to venture out. We left the apartment and wandered through the Mercato Centrale food market (where I bought some Italian salt with herbs). And, it was a pity we weren't hungry yet, as all the food looked wonderful.

It is so big in fact that they had to remove the front wall of the museum building as well as remodel the roof over the statue to accommodate its height.
