      ... t very pleased with the St. Marc's staff. haha but it was a beautiful cathedral. From there we went to the Peggy Guggenheim Museum. It was pretty neat, it was in what used to be her house in Venice, so her as well as her 16 dogs were buried in one of the gardens.       ... Florence while eating gelato! The gelato here is to die for and I have gotten almost every day! We didn't do much except relax and just explored the city and where we would be living for the next four months!       ... dates back to the 1400s and is lovely with frescoed ceilings. It is in a great location right near the Ponte Vecchio
      and also very close to the Palazzo Pitti. It is in a tiny little street that is more like a laneway, and the ambience around here is really great - lots of small restaurants and bars. It is exactly how foreigners imagine Florence to be I guess.
