      It is going to be so hard to say goodbye to the other counselors in training and professors on this trip. We all have clicked so well and have gotten to leave our own mark in each others lives. We have less than 48 hours until we depart this beautiful city. Today we travelled to Florence and we literally spent the ENTIRE day there. We went to see the infamous David statue.       ... we venture out to find Piazzale Michelangelo. Apparently you can see the whole of Florence from the top of this very big hill. We find it hard to find a bus with the right number that will take us there for a couple of Euro so we opt for the taxi which is more than we can afford but the sun is setting and our photo opportunity is fading fast! We manage to catch the sun just before it dips too low and we experience all of Florence in it's magical light. We catch the bus ...

      ... All feeling very merry we headed off to the next stop, a little medieval town for views over the valleys. En route throughout the day we stopped off to "sample" the grapes, apples and figs.. i.e. the driver made the Aussies jump out a steal the above items while we all watched and laughed. We then went into Greve di Chanti for some gelati before heading back to the hostel. What a day. We even got to keep the swimwear.
