We ordered an 800g bife de lomo (beef tenderloin), and it was HUGE! It came on a steak board folded over because it was so long! This morning the education students visited a Secundaria school in Cuernavaca. The name of the school is Cuernavaca Froylan Parroquin G. The Secundaria schools in Mexico are similar to middle schools in the States. The school today had 3 grades; 7th, 8th, and 9th. The school has been around for 80 years and the students have multiple generations of family members that have attended the school. There are about 1400 students at the school but they ...

... The homes where these people stay are in buildings that look like storage units. Each family gets a tiny room to live in and many don't have furniture. A lot of times the families will get kicked out after a year so that they realize it's the government's property and not their own. I just thought the conditions were really sad.
