We had a nice quiet weekend, and we spent most of our time preparing for our upcoming travels. On Saturday we cooked ourselves Carbonara for dinner, then went out for dessert and had some of the most amazing crepes, Jess' with chocolate and coconut and mine with chocolate and banana. Yesterday we were so engrossed in preparations that we didn't even get out for lunch until after 2pm, so we went down to the port which we hadn't been to yet, visited the ...

The menu didn't actually contain Labradors from what we could tell, so it appears to just be a name. It did make me think of Kai and Gemma and hope that they're having a good time together. We finished our exploring off with a trip to the supermarket, now that we didn't have to walk everything back. This ...

... which was quite a bit larger than the maximum allowable dimensions thanks to the motorcycle helmets, would be taken from us and stored in the hold. We really didn't want that because hold luggage is notoriously mistreated and I really didn't want to have to buy new helmets, but no one questioned the fact that not only were our bags too big, we were also carrying a shopping bag full of random other bits and pieces. Nice. Anyway it was all smooth sailing onto our flight and ...
