... still some views available from the road. We found the car parking for mobile homes and made our way through the gates to find a spot, one of hundreds and hundreds of spaces however there were only a handful of vehicles there. I imagine it would be a nightmare trying to get parking through the summer. We parked Fifi up, locked up and headed out. The parking is on the marina so we wandered along the pathway towards the hub of the town. I think I ...

So, even less frequent than promised - can't even keep up blogging once a week! We left Mike's on 1 Apr. A town called Thun was the recommendation - nestling in the alps by a large lake (Thunersee) with some lovely views of the snow capped mountains. The 'camper friendly' car park we were hoping to spend the night in had a 'no camping' sign - it turns out that Switzerland is not good for wild camping. However, we found a fantastic campsite a few ...

Today is mothers day in France (of course , they have to be different than most of the rest of the world where it was May 8th) and the Sunday morning Market was pcked. The flower vendors made their big business today and many people were walking around with beautiful big bouquets. I sat in a ...
