... heavy items into out hand luggage gave us the lightest we could be for what we had. My back pack ended up weighing 7kg and Sue's hand carry bag was about the same, but these would be ok for hand luggage. We fronted the counter at Cathay Pacific, and I asked the girl to weigh our bags, they came in at 45.9 kg combined, then she said they would extend our weight limit to 46kg, so we just got in by a 100g, lucky I took out that pair of undies before ...

Today I had a chill-out day, so Pina, Saro and I enjoyed an outing to Corso Umberto for a Peach Granita macchiato with Mandola. After breakfast we all went shopping.

I bought a pair of shorts, a new cap and some Eau de Toilette, 'Lemon Sorbet'. We also did some grocery shopping before returning home to join Zia Graziella who had made gnocchi and chicken schnitzels for lunch.

After a good nights rest I woken up to a breakfast of Granita and Brioche. I believe it has been the staple diet for the whole time I have been in Sicily. The day was enjoyed relaxing by the waters of the Ionian sea and as well the frequent dips. The Mediterranean water are quite warm, but under currents which thrust into the water are freezing. After a while those shots of icy water ...
