... about to watch our second sunset here-it truly is a highlight so far for us. Originally we were only going to stay one night and drive into Split today, but the beauty of having Fred means that is we like a place, we can stay longer :) Our third campsite in Croatia is by far the best; I had to really force myself away from doing nothing to write this! Although I have to admit that I have a million dollar view while writing it :)

Many a time it was I could take a photo of this and that (which I did) and just having heaps of fun. ... A nice lady told us to go upstairs. When we got upstairs we saw the beautiful, tiny synagogue. It had a few benches, a bima, an ark, and a small women's section. The whole thing was just one small room. But then this man came in to talk to us about the shul. He said there are 100 members of the congregation, but no rabbi. ... Countries like Iran, Syria, Rwanda and Uganda can be appreciated if visited on your own. Besides, I think I would have more success convincing my future partner to come to Croatia with me rather than Iran (unfortunately). ... stopped. Once it had finished I continued on my way to meet everyone else. The restaurant was this great place through an alley, down a side street and around another corner, I don't think I could ever find it again if I tried. Had fish soup and an absolutely mouth-watering steak. Tried a local beer and shot before heading off to a club. Had a couple drinks, a bit of a boogie and then a massive adventure on the way home. All in all it was a great night to end a great day.

So my final arrival at their doorstep after another hour of stumbling around the old city (by the way, there's an enormous, beautiful walled fortress here called Diocletian's palace, but to hell if I remember any of this) was nothing short of miraculous.
