    ... the day was that David threw out the toll ticket that I had sitting in the console....hmmm not quite sure how and poor David as I huffed and puffed and said in no uncertain terms..."what the"?!! I was stressing a bit imagining our conversation and wondering if we would be charged extra or fined but all was good and the attendant looked up the price and took our word that we had left from Florence.     ... br> But by the time I woke up it was time for dinner and we went to the local family run pizza restaurant that was recommended. They spoke very little English but we got pizza and it was very good.

    That's one thing I miss though just going to a restaurant and getting meat and vege. There is never this option on the menu. So sick of pasta and pizza!! Will cook some meat and vege in Nice when we have an apartment.
