... really yummy local tempeh ( not bitter at all!), soup, egg and chicken. But it tasted so yummy we polished everything off cept the soup which we worried about the MSG.

The first sight of Borobudu is breathtaking: hidden behind the vegetation and resembling the top of a mountain, Borobobudur stands and calls to be looked at and explored.

The temple was built around the 9th Century AD using lava stone, about 60000m of stopne were transported and used for its construction. The temple has a total of 9 levels, 6 of which are square and 3 circular (the top 3 levels are circular).

Walked over to Dugi Hill only about 15mins away, the one spot where you can get an 'aerial’ view of the complex and needless to say i was the only person there.
