In the afternoon we walked around past the fishing boats and the men were fixing the nets, cutting and mending, and getting the nets ready to drop for the next day.
Walked around the the foreshore for a few kilometres and saw a huge sailing ship which had come in. There are a lot of private yachts calling in each night and mooring. A friend of David's from NZ has just been sailing down the Dalmation coast.
... again, but because I thought we were coming back after breakfast I didn't take my bathers, so just had to sit in the sun!
We walked around the two small islands which are joined. Not a lot of people around - mainly just sitting around the huge pool at the resort!
Back to the nice cafe by the water, and then walked up to the church at the top of the old town.
David went off walking and swimming again and I did a loop of the old town around the water.
Had a beautiful fish platter for dinner. The restaurants are pretty quiet. It must be hard for the locals when the tourists leave.

... been fun at sea!
Found a nice cafe near the water this morning and ended up staying for a few hours as another massive thunderstorm and rain hit the town. We could see it coming as everyone dashed for cover under the cafe awnings. It was quite impressive!
The lane ways here are made of a sort of granite. They look beautiful but can be ...
... had a incredibly wet summer.
We have a little apartment three floors up at the top of an old building along a roughly paved alleyway connecting the two ports. Our room has a loft bed and two windows that overlook the harbour and all the fishing boats coming and going.
We wandered around part of the old city and David had a swim off the rocks. Everyone sun bakes on the rocks. I think we are very spoilt with our beautiful beaches.
