We could not have picked a more perfect spot for our week of relaxation and break from all the sightseeing than Piran. On the coast of Slovenia and with the Adriatic ocean pretty much lapping at our door step we felt relaxed from the minute we arrived.

... the headland with small groups of locals having fun diving and somersaulting in the sea. There are no beaches on the headland, just rocks, but lots of flat areas and steps built into the rock to make it safe and accessible.

... slipping over we had a drink in the harbour overlooking the old town as the moon turned bright red and a group of salsa dancers were entertaining passers by just for fun. A very captivating and romantic place and to top it off, super cheap!
So after some beer and wine we were all set for a good night’s sleep, all we had to do was go back and barricade our bed again with the mozzie net and that all faithful balancing trainer!
We have been busy floating abroad over the last week or so with little amounts of internet to update with photos.
Anyone who has one of us on Facebook has been kept quite up to date with a few daily photos also!
