      ... I cleared customs and were on our way to the S train/subway to get to Frankfurt City. The streets were deserted as it was early morning. There were broken bottles, garbage and fireworks everywhere! Looks like they had an epic party here last night. Nothing was open so we headed to the Frankfurt Cathedral first and then Romer itself.       ... went up onto the top floor for a swim - only us, so lovely and peaceful. Did look at having a sauna, but didn't know how to make it work!!! When it came time to get the lift down we, and another chap who had just arrived and had come up to have a look, couldn't get the lift.
