... t leave Miami Beach without spending a night in the bars and restaurants along Ocean Drive - there are plenty to choose from, depending on what you are looking for. More 'Coronaritas', and there seemed to be a fishbowl-sized cocktail on every table!

We also checked out the shopping along Lincoln Rd. Miami is a very cosmopolitan and multicultural place - as well as obviously a lot ...

Well we finally made it! We completed the longest leg of our trip today and are still awake to write about it this evening. We started the day off with a hearty breakfast at a local Daytona Beach diner. The tables came complete with Trivia Pursuit cards to quiz each other with while we waited for our food. Key West is heaven on earth. We spent 6 hours there and were blown away by its beauty. It is a hot spot for cruise liners which are amazing to see and the sea is full of marine life. In the space of 30 minutes snorkeling (off some random beach) we saw a Lion fish (also known as a Scorpion Fish), hundreds of Parrot Fish and two massive Angel Fish. We were also told about a fort, to ...

... they were LOVELY!!! Also got a box of giant malt balls (Maltesers).

Storms were forecast for Saturday, so decided to have an early walk along the beach and some breakfast, then around 3pm off to a bar to ride out the thunder and lightning that was expected. Got to the bar just before the storm hit. Thankfully, I couldn't here the thunder over the country music playing on the jukebox. However, there was so much rain that the parking lot outside flooded, and the water came ...
