    ... all the warm and fuzzy but this place isn't cheesy. Romantic and charming is how the Italian people are. At least if your wanting to visit Venice, do yourself a favour, stay in Verona.     Today was a pack up and quiet day. There was a monster thunder storm overnight and the rain was steady until mid-late morning.     ... at the Citadella carpark which was a five minute walk from the Arena. Of course before we did anything else we had to get gelati and found an artisan gelataria called Pretto on the corner of the main circus as you approach the arena. We went to the ticket office and were able to buy tickets for Carmen on the stone steps at the back and we had packed our cushions from the outdoor furniture at the villa into a backpack to protect our backsides!! ...
