      The tour began with a visit to the onsite cameo store and then into the ruins themselves. They are huge!! Both in the vertical and expansive sense! I had a grin from ear to ear and even managed to get a few photos without other visitors photo-bombing the subject :o)

Trevi Fountain, Piazza del Popolo, Vatican City, Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona, Villa Borghese, etc etc. I was more interested in the little back streets in the centre of the city, eating Gelate and Pizza and thats it...       ... abruptly against the forested hillsides. There are a few itinerant vendors wandering about—they seem to be very much a part of the fabric of society here in southern Italy. I see three of them side by side, each fitting right into the stereotype: An African fellow selling pirated DVDs…a Chinese woman selling miscellaneous gadgets… and a Roma woman… just begging.
