When we returned to the courtyard where the wine festival was in full force, we met the 2013 Wine Harvest Princess, the wine judges, and local band. We found that everyone was an instant friend, as the wine flowed freely and local food specialties were offered. An older man from New Jersey took us under his wing, introducing us to friends he had returned to visit in his hometown.

We were guests of our dear friend Frenki, and his wife Barbi near the town Planina pri Sevnici. The first time I was in this part of Slovenia, and I can honestly say that nature of the region delight me.

Breaking News. Lorraine met a man in Zagreb. He was a solid, steely, silent sort of bloke, but alas it was not to be. Before she knew it Lorraine found herself in the Museum of Broken Relationships. If you are ever in Zagreb this is a must: both poignant and hysterically funny. We would have liked to spent longer in Zagreb, a cultural hub with so many museums and galleries. ...
