      ... the family have a key and go inside to visit. Must say I kind of liked the idea. Burying in the earth seems so unkind.

      ... People very much keep to themselves and behave very quietly. The biggest noise is the olives that drop and and give a little roll on our roof. On our right are Germans (who I haven't let on to speaking German so I can eavesdrop, but unfortunately they hardly speak) who clean and tidy and wash the van constantly (although that seems to be the motor homing males prime occupation) Their neighbours have pot plants that sit in the sun with them.       I'll admit, living in the Rockies and along the Pacific Ocean had me thinking I had seen what the world has to offer when it comes to natural beauty. Lagos totally took us by surprise with it's turquoise waters, surreal sandstone formations, adrenalin inducing cliffs and wacky hostel buddy (Hugo). Indeed, I am now convinced the world has beauty secrets I could never have imagined.
