New place new friends. Fortaleza was cool because right when I got there we went out. Some Chileans brought a big bottle of pisco and before you know it we all were riding happy on the way to pink elephant. It's a popular expensive night club they have here in Brazil. I use the word basic (although by no means am complaining) as the dorms/ rooms basically contained beds, a small fan and nothing more (including glass in most windows!) making them hot and loud at night but it had a pleasant outside social area with TV ...

... of the sound of the stadium after Uruguay converted and it's something else to hear. It is actually amazing that almost 60 thousand people (or 50 thousand and 8 exactly how the Portuguese say it) are sitting around watching 22 guys kicking a ball around. The passion and emotion in the stadium was intense!! However, then Costa Rica converted and we just lost ourselves in the Costa Rican chanting!! That ...
