    ... through were forced to stop in each city for three days and sell products, then pay 20% tax to Germans before they could continue on . During communist times the main square was a parking lot but there was a huge music festival held here called the Golden Stag where big name international acts would headline. It was the only contact that Romanians had with the outside world and one of the few times they were allowed to congregate under communist rule.

    ... we've definitely caught up on our sleep and we're able to unpack a lot too. Tomorrow morning we head down to the hospital to have orientation and sort paperwork, then we're starting our shifts!
