    ... we gather our things and head for the beach! So spend the rest of the day on the beach, sunbathing, swimming, reading, listening to music and our favourite pastime, people watching of course!

    We have parked our bums on the beachfront of the Inna Grand Hotel and we witness two weddings that take place in the Inna' s Diamonnd Bali chapel....

    Our first flight in 3 months is a short 5 hours from Bangkoks' Don Mueng airport, we arrive in Bali at 11.10 local time. The rain falls but it's still over 25 degrees and we can't believe we're actually here! It takes just a few seconds to get our visas once we pay the $25 each, then it's half an hour to grab our bags and go through the check points.The usual taxi routine occurs outside, we pay 100,000 rupee for a 20 minute ride to Sanur and get dropped by our first choice ...

    ... meal. Luckily in my group there was only one couple, they were Irish, my goodneds, Irish people are so friendly!! Immediately we started talking, sharing travel experiences and enjoying the tour together. Cycling was kind of a challenge, first because it was the first time after my bike accident and I was still feeling a bit insecure about it. Second we biked at parts on main roads with cars, motorbikes, people...scary! ...

    ... we had to wade out of the bathroom because the water from the sink kept gushing on the floor plus the water from the shower flooded the floor. Bad design of whoever built the hotel as the drains were not in the right place!

    We took a taxi to Bangsol thinking it would be cheaper than a private car or even a shared minibus. How right we were and for once we felt we were back in control! So when in Lombok take a taxi, they are metered and you get a fair price. We paid 90,000 ...
