... but it was tasty and we left after a half hour or so and went back to the hostel and chilled out by the pool until the sun decided to calm down. We googled supermarkets and noticed there's one not too far from here and set off to get some food for dinner and returned just before sunset to put our kit on and head down to the beach for a quick workout. We knocked out a decent effort as we tried different things and utilise the sand a bit ...

    Long transit day to Natal

Was a nice view and had enjoyed the famed chilli choc ice cream cut with some capiranha sorbet before heading back along the 3km of rocky beaches. Shame they hadn’t completed the renovation ...

... Natal airport, which is now officially the worst place on earth, at 2:30am. We didn't have a hotel that night, so we had to attempt to get some sleep and kill time until our 2:00pm check-in. The one thing that was finished in the airport was the air conditioning. How does one say"when hell freezes over" in Portuguese? Sara slept on the floor while a number of other tourist transplants scattered themselves across the terminal using luggage as beds in every conceivable fashion. ...
