... and we will go to her place. She speaks no English so this should be interesting, but her friend does. Her friend, Marcos, is the one I originally linked with on couchsurfing but he wasn't available to host me so he passed me onto his friend, Duda. ... find another beach called morrere. It turns out its quite a big further than it looks. As we trekked along a never ending sand/jungle path, with rolling hills of trees in front of us, we began to wonder if we had taken the right path. Eventually however we heard the muffled sound of the sea and so continued on in desperate need of water. Laid back life

Caraiva is a laid back old hippie town, set at the end of a peninsular. We had 2 ways to get here, the long road or the short one (impassable in wet weather).

Obviously we took the short road. Basically it's a forestry road; mud, steep hills and few signs. All good fun but a few of the wooden bridges were a bit off putting, so we walked over them.

Not a lot to say about the town, its another Brazilian beach town.

A few of us went out for a beer in town and ended up down a little pedestrian street. We thought there were 3 restaurants/bars but it turned out that it was all one place. A family run joint with Papa sitting on the other side of the street directing his daughters.
