... the heat headed back to The Moorings for a swim and wee snorkel off our jetty. It's certainly not a coral wonderland but we were entertained enough with lots of small colourful fish, blue flourescent coral, 2m long sea snakes, large starfish and small eels certainly enough to see to keep us happy. Ceremony Season
... all over the place, getting mud stuck between my toes into which my grass skirt got stuck tripping me up. I finally decided that the embarrassment of slipping over at best, or twisting an ankle at worst was not worth it! After about 3 - 4 hours I called it quits. ... She welcomed us on the VHF and directed us to our mooring. She would usually set up clearance but we had already done that in Aneityum. Yachting World also offers laundry services and does a great job. Putting freshly done laundry away is one of the little joys of boat life. With luck we get it done or do it ourselves in a laundromat once a month.
Our goal is to get out of Vila asap and up to Pentecost to see the Land Diving.

Fly Away
... for some transport. I suggested a bus because I had read they were the cheapest form of transport and after discovering that a taxi to Benjor Beach Club was going to set us back 2700Vt dad agreed. It was surprisingly hard in the end to find a bus which had a driver and wasn't specifically set aside for transfers but eventually we found one.
