and we finally made it! It's been a busy past few days, but now we're here!!! We had our 8 hours in transit in Rome yesterday and then landed in Bucharest (Romania) in the early hours of this morning :) We got picked up by our hotel shuttle which went really well and oh my goodness the hotel was AMAZING! That night I was transferred into the 'Snorer's Den' -- the room containing the authentic snorer (on close inspection he had bad skin as well). Ironically, putting up with his snoring wasn't an issue as much as the French guy on his lower bunk who was staring at me. When I returned his stare, I saw that he was actually trying to give me a smile of acknowledgement -- a sort of 'hey, isn't this snoring guy annoying?' ...
