... the rooms. This late 19th century castle houses rooms inspired from all over the world. Some tastefully decorated and some only the uber rich can truly appreciate. Take a picnic and make a day of it on the luscious grass fronting cause the trains run irregularly in the afternoon. The town also has some great eateries on offer, slightly overpriced but if you look around a bit you can get some good deals like the free beer at the Irish pub when you order a ...

... the same lovely man came back and walked us through the whole purchase. The tickets were much cheaper there than if we had pre-bought them: 130lei vs. 70€. We walked to our platform, lugging all of our stuff. I guiltily watch Ben lug my massive suitcase-- thinking about the last time I was in Europe helping mom lug her massive suitcase. I should have pared down more. Of course they made us walk all the way to ...

Brasov - Romania, located in Transylvania, the home of Vlad Dracula (count Dracula) . There was a person who was a bit nasty named Dracula, but the legend of the vampire etc is all bs. Still, it provides plenty of fodder for the merchants around the castle and they sell plenty of t- shirts etc ( yes, of course we bought one!) We did continue ...
