This beach is a breeding ground for loggerhead turtles, but they let people sunbathe here during the day so long as they don’t lie on top of a nest or stick a sun umbrella into the ground. Seriously?! Croc Dundee pulled the boat up to a little hut on the river where two people were dropping bait into the water to entice the turtles. It was time to go back to our wonderful hotel. Eve, Leroy, Elaine, Mary and I decided to have a picnic in our room.
Then Mary and I went down to the water and here are a couple of photos of me enjoying the Mediterrean.

We drove on through the Taurus Mountains. Those of you who are Christians will remember St. Paul of Taurus and his walk to the end of the world. The belief back then was that the earth was flat. On the other side of the Taurus Mountains is the Mediterranean - no land to be seen, so the end of world.
