Drove to Story City, Iowa today. The weather was not good today, in fact we drove through pour down rain for about 1 1/2 hrs as we passed through Kansas City and northward. The campground was wet from all the rain and not as pretty as it was the last time we stayed here 4 years ago. Smokey hasn't been sleeping well and has been crying during the night. I guess it is too much going on for him. Needless to say, we haven't been sleeping too ...

... we got our tent out and set it up. Soon after had paneer parota and chole for dinner. Yum! There was a ranger program about the night sky and we got there early as we did not realize that the time zone had changed. Soon after we went back and got to know about the night sky and then came back to our tent and slept. It was a beautiful night to camp out.

Lots of exciting things coming up this summer, soon starting July 4th we are off on our road trip to california and back, and on the drive back Srikanta's parents will join us. We plan to visit quite a few National parks and meet up with friends and family in the bay area. School reopens for the kids on Aug 14th 2014.
