... The cave is located high on one of the Qi Pan Shi ridge lines and is quite a demanding hike. The cave itself is not large but high in height with a steep slope where pilgrims climb to pay homage to the small god. The trip was half in daylight, and half at night, and the further we went from Qingdao, the more the sky closed up with pollution. Until I could barely see the Sunset. I was back in familiar China again.
It goes without saying that I liked Qingdao a lot (apart from it being maybe a little TOO commercialised in parts). I do hope it is a glimpse of what all of China can ...
