An Ode to Patrick
... and room, and this was now 1am. He then, as he does so well, invited himself in. He sat on Nicks bed whilst Nick and Jasmin were talking. He paid no contribution to the conversation and just sat there…for 3 hours! Before finally leaving and unfortunately heading to our room for bed.
Although this is a story of cringe worthy epicness there was still more yet to come from Patrick, but its not suitable for this blog.

Shopping in Shenzhen
... came back for us and took us back 'home', where we enjoyed a cold beer along with some fresh bread, ham, pickles, crackers and pâté. We then decided to have an afternoon nap.
Later on, we went along to Frog's where we met up with Alan and the rest of the gang. We had a couple of drinks and enjoyed the banter; I can understand why Alan and Margaret made it their local pub.

Hong Kong
... of Hong Kong heritage. The ferry itself and the layout of the Kowloon pier are completely recognizable in the 1961 film "The World of Suzie Wong." From the ferry one can take in the famous view of the harbour and the Hong Kong skyline.

The beginning of the end
... and we had a dish of each, plus rice, and a cabbage soup - good taste, shame about the chicken claw in each bowl! Back to the hotel for an early night, as Zoe had been on an overnight plane the night before. Very comfy bed, and a terrific shower. Perfect!
Unfortunately the pictures for this next couple of weeks seem to have gone missing. They may turn up somewhere, but I don't hold out much hope.
