... wife Jo, and together with a few others we proceeded to have a fairly insane and dangerous few days on the river, with several near death moments along the way. Anyway, it was great to catch up and also get a few tips about things to do in HK and the surrounding area.

Being Saturday the crowds on the streets have swelled enormously.. workers on a day off , out with their families .. shopping, eating & socialising... The Christmas rush is even more of a rush here...
Even the weather is happy, a little hazy but great for this time of the year..

... better than expected. My tour guide was a Chinese Texan who started out as a builder like me. We hit it off immediately. The building itself was called the BR building and was a great example of how to build in a warm-humid climate zone like Shenzhen. In a word - it breathed. Oh and had stunning decorative AND edible gardens embedded throughout its 16 stories.
