... to get away from the dark, gloomy and dilapidated buildings. On arrival to the hotel, the charades continued. There was a clerk sleeping behind the counter who was not offended at all when we woke him up. Sasha and Dasha walked upstairs, looked at the room, felt happy that they could sleep, paid for the night and instantly feel asleep like "two bumps on a log".

... kust rattaga sai läbi kihutada. Kimasime ca 30-35km/h, samas kui mopod ja autod sõitsid 20-25km/h. Ilgelt lahe. Adrekat kogu raha eest. Jõudsime hotelli pool tundi enne saatebussi, mis pidi enne meid kohal olema :)

Külastasime kohalikku turgu, kus imetlesime kaupmeeste supersooritusi kirves-kööginoaga. Loomulikult ostsime erinevaid mijiu'sid, et õhtul oleks midagi lauale panna. Hiinas on nii, et keegi ei tee teist nägu, ...

After a days rest we booked ourselves on a cruise down Li River, which weaves
its way from Guilin to Yangshao, on little bamboo boats. It was amazing. Today,
we went to the rice terraces which were also spectacular! We were on another
tour as we were pushed for time and the terraces were quite a while away. Guilin
has definitely been my favourite place in China so far. I wish we could see this

... a bit (quite a lot actually) like an elephant drinking from the river. This is particularly clear in Star Wars 3 film. The cave below is called Moon over water due to the reflection. Next to it (and less obvious) was Rooster Fighting Hill (which we could see from the lake cruise too), then Pagoda Hill (with a very clear pagoda on top called Longevity Buddha Pagoda (Shoufu Ta) from the Ming Dynasty (1364-1644). .
