      A beautifully furnished and finished hotel with attentive and non-intrusive staff. Great facilities, has the feel of a boutique hotel, within walking distance to the Dubai Mall.

      ... Endless windswept mountains and no trees. Clouded over later and didn't see a thing till landing in Zürich. Near airport seemed very rural / agricultural, not like I was expecting...
      Zürich airport is dead as, no customs checking at all...
      Train again to Fribourg, high speed and hurts the ears in the tunnels as it's pushing so much air... Hit Fribourg station at 5pm peak hour ...

      After 47 days, 10 countries, 13 currencies, 6 languages, 20 beds, temperatures of 3-35 degrees, 24 take-offs (23 of which on a run-way!) and 65,000km we are heading home!

      ... went to the Dubai beach that looks over the Arabian sea. Dubai actually imports its sand from *****ia.
      Anyway, we got back from our tour at 2:30 and had lunch across the road from our hotel. We got a massive, and I mean massive bowl of hummus with lebanese bread for only 4 dirham.       ... last! This place was full of all things beautiful and lavish. From huge sky scrapers to million dollar boats and prestigious cars everywhere you look. We have never seen so many Ferrari's, Porsche's, Rolls Royce's, Camaros, Mustangs, Audis. Paul was in car heaven!
