    A beautifully furnished and finished hotel with attentive and non-intrusive staff. Great facilities, has the feel of a boutique hotel, within walking distance to the Dubai Mall.

    ... sleep.

    Yesterday was not that clear - no wind, and early 30's temperature. Today is looking much clearer and is going to be around 36 degrees. Might take my togs in case we end up by the sea, was keen to see how warm the water is. We did stop by the sea on our city tour, and they have outside showers there - and a toilet with no toilet paper. Lucky I always have tissues as the one in the gas station yesterday and none either.

    ... to go back to the Dubai Mall to see the Dubai Fountain, a water and light show created by the same person that made the fountain show at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. We got a taxi to the mall (he probably overcharged us a bit, but he was willing to take US dollars).     ... br> To complete the Aquarium, we walk through a large glass tunnel which gives a different view to the fish inside. We then go through the Underwater Zoo which includes otters, seals, penguins, giant catfish, lizards, a 7 metre crocodile and giant water rats called Nutrias.
