A beautifully furnished and finished hotel with attentive and non-intrusive staff. Great facilities, has the feel of a boutique hotel, within walking distance to the Dubai Mall.

... meal on the plane and a drinks menu presented to me. 'Ill have the sparkling wine please!' whilst watching a guilty pleasure chick flick and awkwardly wiping away the tears. Typical. Dubai I'm ready for you! So we then arrive at the hotel. The man behind the desk looks a little strangely at me as he finds our reservation. He had understood it that the third traveller was a child. Cool. Oh well not long til it was sorted with a free upgrade thrown ...

... be rich, posh and a little stuck up. I got a lot of weird looks for my baby wrap with moses and the only people who seemed to be helpful or chatty were fellow tourists. Feeling quite out of place we downed our drinks and began to head back to the station. Finally on the train we relaxed and ollie, Hudson and moses fell asleep (and even Glenn for a little bit) as we cruised through the city. A quick change of trains (and a long walk) later we finally found ourselves ...

As it was the ...
