Insgesamt ein recht ereignisreicher Tag und auch die erste Rundmail an Freunde und Bekannte über meine drohende Abreise habe ich versandt, übermorgen folgt dann noch eine an die Kollegen:

That night, Attila spiked a fever and I thought we were going to end up in Eimeldingen for another day, but come morning, he insisted that he head for Paris. We said our good-byes to our new German friend and hit the road.

The craziest game went into three overtimes and therefore ended at 7am my time…leaving just enough time to shower and go to work. I already feel healthier having some REM time again! ... flowers and butterflies and things ... they failed to tell us it cost a small fortune but after spending a couple of hours walking around pretty Lake Constance to get there we thought why not pay to go in! It was very beautiful and the flowers were in full bloom so the smells floating about were just lovely! It was quite a relaxing day and the sun came out in full force so it was a nice way to finish to Germany!!!
