... for Byron Bay and it had let me down. The girls who'd been in Yamba were due to arrive soon, and I decided to move hostels to stay in the same one as them. And oh, what a completely different experience a change of scenery can provide you with. Whilst staying at the hostel from hell, I literally spent two days all alone. The bar area was nice and there's a lot of good bars and clubs in Byron, but I wasn't likely to check those out on my own or with any of the unsociable hermits that ...

... the two hour journey from Surfers to Byron. It's so nice here. The whole place just has a really nice atmosphere and is really chilled. My hostel, Holiday Village, was in the most perfect location ever. The first afternoon I just wandered around town and met up with my friend Mikael and some people from his hostel in ...

Next day I spent the whole day in bed using Tabs free fast wifi catching up on Made in Chelsea and watching Frozen for the first time. It was great! Then headed back to Philippa's apartment where I spent the night and then caught my bus in the morning to Noosa! Noosa was a pretty cool little town ...

... a track to the beautiful sandy beach. After setting up we went for a stroll along the waters edge & was nearly temped to go in for a swim. Very warm here & the water is still warm. We walked down to the local general store for supplies for dinner before settling in for the day. No TV reception here so we had a few games of Yahtzee & UNO before retiring for the ...

... Thankfully one of the guys we were with had a torch with him cause the path was not lit and the walk back would have been in the pitch black... That would scare me enough in England but Christ, in Australia where everything on land and in sea can kill you, it's scary! I had no plans on the last morning so planned to just chill out. Kelly had a trip to Nimbin booked so I thought I would head to the beach. Nimbin is the marijuana town of Australia, where you can ...
