Well we were due to fly to Fiji on Sunday night but that didn't happen. We decided to change our flight to one week later so we'll still get a week in Fiji. The reason we changed it though is because it's wet season there at the moment and the forecast is just non stop thunderstorms for the next week. Also we're having such a good time in Melbourne and there is so much stuff to do and see that it was a bit of a no brainer. On Monday we packed up the car and headed out of Melbourne to see some...
Ballarat, Victoria, Australia alandrach... because of the gold rush in the 1800ths; it is also the place where the Eureka happened. It was brilliant because we got there when it just opened there was ************e there so we were able to achieve a lot very quickly. Our first port of call was to book the underground tour, which we did. We than had about 45mins to bum around so we went right to the top of the park & played some old fashion bowling (skittles in olden time) it was fun ...
Ballarat, VIC, Australia hyper351...
Ballarat, Victoria, Australia alessa... my hood up and brought a hot coffee to get me there! Sovereign Hill is recreation of a 1850's town during the goldrush. I invested in the 2 day pass as it was only $7 more and obviously if the weather improved tomorrow i could come back. I had a short wander around some of building in the town. There was only a handful of people there braving the weather. I then ...
Ballarat, Australia jsto... small, and haunted by well something. (could it be a demon or just allot of thought.) I felt more free minded after his words settled in my body. For he talked about false beliefs that block me from happiness and what happiness truly is. (By the way I must thank Ella Wachella from T.O. for she sent be the book and it arrived a day before my departure to Australia.) One of the quotes I found very useful is " The Reason why you are unhappy is because you are ...
Mailing Rd., Australia carolinesheart... pig" out ...(me BEING the year of the pig.) Sat down at at a decedent chocolate Cafe called Cocoa ... and ate tons of chocolate so delicate it all melted so smoothly down my throat. Ahh the best I mean the best chocolate ever... they had this deal because of the wine and food festival for only 19.95 you get a Mug of Dark Hot Coco, a cake of any choice; I went for the bishop (chocolate moose with honey comb), 3 decadent bonbons of ur choice; i had earlgrey and ...
Melbourne CDB, Australia carolinesheart... parkland or not.
Melbourne, Australia rootaberger... was really nice, a lot more chilled than Sydney and there was a bit more to do there. We spent the first day shopping and then chilled out on the beach to watch the sun set. Nat did her Neighbors tour which she really enjoyed, got to reminisce all the old times wit a free DVD she got!lol! On Sunday we explored the Great Ocean Road, we stopped off at Torquay first to check out surf central, we got ourselves lost in all the surf shops and then checked out Bell Beach which ...
Sydney, Australia cloutman22This is Renee typing.. .Lilli is at work. I just wanted to make a quick note to say we have been here 4 weeks tomorrow, apart from that being cause for huge celebration , it also means rent is due :( We are both sorry that we cant send presents home to everyone, we would love to but unfortunately our savings didnt stretch nearly as far as we hoped. Okay this week has been routine....except we have been very ...
Melbourne, Australia lillirenee... to jump to more info on the Sovereign Hill. The animal park offered something that we had yet to see...kangaroos! It even had koalas, emus, loads of snakes and reptiles and a wombat. Loads of fun for everyone, there were two kinds of kangaroos in the park, western grey and red. The grey kangaroos were allowed to roam the park freely and be fed by visitors, which is really a great thing. Much like the first time in New York when ...
