As we've travelled further south the weather has been getting progressively hotter so we decided to just do a short walk in the Pere Marquette State Park before we left rather than a long one. It turned out to be a wise choice as even this got us perspiring profusely, but the views were good from McAdam's Peak. However, we couldn't see the St Louis Arch in the distance as the brochure ...

Lots of paint, removing old furniture, adding paneling. Switched out the queen bed with a twin and a toddler bed, and built a couch/bed contraption for me and Molly where the old air bed sofa was.

It feels really good in here. Now if everything will hold up on the road, we should be fine.

... border of several states in one day makes it difficult to remember where we have been. Several states in one day ? Well, only 2. Arkansas and Missouri. But, we were on the border next to Tennessee several times - today. Larry says in a few weeks it won't matter. We won't remember. That's why I'm writing about it - so we can.

But, what ISN'T hard to remember is Mi Pueblo restaurant which boasts of genuine Mexican food. The ...
