    As we had breakfast the thick fog rolled in and kept the temperatures about 15 Degrees C. Jumpers and coats were back on.

    Hearst Castle was obscured by clouds. We had to catch the bus up to the house. Saw turkey and deer on the way up hanging out near the now dilapidated pergola walk way (a mile long) that was once covered in grape vines …

    ... the water but harrumph themselves around on the beach. They lie on top of each other and pick on each other. They are funny to watch. Like any community some just mind their own business and others throw their weight around. Universally smelly and make great noises.

    Driving back we saw people pulled over- there in the field was zebras. Apparently a leftover from the zoo at Hearst Castle.

    ... person, they did it to me once!" Anyway Mike dropped us off and we went to do the most scary thing we've been worried about...pick up the car. Richards been worried we wouldn't get a mustang! we got there and they had my name on the Virgin holidays board, and we were able to pick up the car. They checked we wanted a Mustang and we got it!
