Travel Blogs from Curitiba
Today was my third adventure in Brazil. I decided to make my way to Curitiba, Brazil. I wanted to see all the cities in Brazil to see how they were different from each other. There was a common market in Curitiba called Feira do Largo da Ordem. I decided to spend my morning there to get a few things. There wasn't just food though. There was everything. It went from food to furniture. All the stores were spread out ...
... is mentioned but it
appears to be utterly hilarious to Brazilians (Well to Camila anyway,
who couldn’t stop laughing the whole video. I told her she has to learn
it before I see her again). I would like to take the time here to
commend the athleticism of those dancers though, not everyone can do a
booty shake while upside down.
... horrible utilitarian residential apartment buildings that must have been purchased and built on special some decades ago and then were planted just about everywhere and then left vacant. I shut my eyes for 5 minutes on this highway, when I opened them the scenery hadn’t changed. It goes on forever. Anyway, Curitiba.
Curitiba is elevated at about 1000m above sea level and is a city of about 2 million. It’s a convenient stop on the way ...
... off all of their faces at this situation they had just witnessed. Poor Loz almost died knowing I was about to be sent back to Bolivia (or arrested for sticking my fingers up!).
So that’s what we now call the double whammy...on the same day we almost got arrested on the Bolivia boarder...and then again on the Brazil boarder...beers on the bus to Bonito never tasted so good!
Naughty Han & Loz xx
... Portugese BBQ/buffet. Then we went to the bus station to get our overnight coach. Rae and I were right up the front of the double decker coach, which was quite confronting especially when a truck pulled out in front of us before we even got out of town, and we nearly kissed the back of that truck! Yikes, it was so close to us! The seats recline and I can sleep OK despite the noise and winding roads.
