    ... wings, chips, veg, and then the waiters come around all the tables with different pasta dishes and you say which you'd like. It was a hilarious experience with this one waiter who liked us, but most of the time he'd only speak to me, and I'd just nod my head. Also I abruptly got the giggles and lemonade came out of my nose, just as another waiter came to offer us food. It was all far too funny especially as he didn't say anything but ...

    ... I undeerstood about 75% of what she said.

    Today we have been walking round the old town here in the centre which is lovely and the buildings there have been restored to their former glory. There are lots of art galleries, bars and restaurants in this area. Also went down to the Flores pedestrianised street. Lots and lots of tempting shops there but unfortunately I cannot buy anything because of luggage restrictions.

    Tonight we should be off on the bus ...

    Wow, from one extreme to another. After the jittering teeth suffered in Bolivia with the sub zero temperatures it was now time to experience the opposite end of the scale. The night started off boiling, so I just slept in my liner with no trousers on, a massive contrast to the 10 layered Michelin man + sleeping bag liner + sleeping bag, but luckily it got much colder in the middle of the night and I resorted to using the lodge's blanket.
