      Yesterday we drove down to Laverstoke Mill which is now the Bombay Sapphire Distillery. We had watched a Megafactories documentary on the restoration of the mill and loved getting to see it and to learn about making the gin. After enjoying our riding hack so much on Friday, today Craig, Aaron and Chloe had a riding lesson at the same stables.       ... We continued to eat our way around the markets however! We had waffles, donuts, more mulled wine and even had deep fried cheese.       Eventually William was rich enough to own property all over Stratford. He turned the old house into a very successful inn - The Maidenhead & Swan. Good to see he invested, and didn't just blow his cash on wine and fancy frilly collars.

      ... had the whole place to ourselves for 15 minutes. We went in to the Gaol first, which was really eerie. It was very dark and damp and had an old pillory hanging from the ceiling. They used to put men in there and would just leave them to rot away. There was also a solitary confinement cell that was just a small hole in the ground. Next up was the Kingmaker exhibit.
