Just finished posting my impromptu trip to Nasau and Exuma, Bahamas experiencing the real Bahamas.
I am patiently waiting for my passport to be returned to me by Fedex. My passport is in the Italian Consulate in Miami for my Schengen Visa.
Funny, coz, I already have everything arranged, trip ticket and reservation to hostels, except for the Schengen Visa.
I am hoping I will be given a visa and that it will come to me in time for my trip scheduled in November 2-15.

I was at the airport since 4pm..... The travel time: 30 minutes.
Make things worst:::::: Powerboat Adventure is fully booked for four days.....
What are we going to do? I have not heard of Islandworld Adventures as yet.
I just purchased online, a round trip ticket to Rome, Italy as a requirement in getting a SCHENGEN VISA. I will fly Continental Airlines.
hostelworld.com for places to stay.
Rome, Venice, Florence then back to Rome for a flight to Milan.
I hope, I will be given a visa......I hate applying for visa.
We're just back from Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands just south of the Bahamas where we spent the past 9 months fishing. The 700 mile trip back was uneventful and for the most part the wind was reasonable so the ride was decent.
We will be doing some routine maintenance on the boat in Stuart and then preparing for the ...
... at the Smith's Point.... We went there earlier for an afternoon swim. The arrival of the stingray signifies feeding time. Same for us human beings....
Then, the waiting continues....still thinking planning an itinerary for the Costa Rica weekend.
What the..... let me do my Facebook first.

... become new favorite pastimes. I've gone into school a few days with Dave to help get things in order there- you should have seen the store room (chemicals, experiment equipment, etc.) - looked like a tornado had blown through. By the time I finished with it, it looked brand new and received kudos from the school director, as well as my sweetheart. It was nice to find a good project. The most exciting part was when ...
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas travelinsaraWell we finally made it to the Bahamas! We arrived on the 22nd into Port Lucaya on Grand Bahama Island at around 8:30 a.m. and had an incredible experience crossing the Gulf Stream. After leaving Delray Beach, we headed to Fort Lauderdale to have a decent angle, heading slightly East/North East, in order to avoid fighting the Gulf Stream current too much. We stayed at a wonderful marina located right on the Intracoastal, so we could ...
Freeport, Bahamas outbound5... hole, we made our way to the second cavern. Ben explained that this cavern had been used by the natives as a burial ground for tribe members. Several complete skeletons were discovered inside. He explained that they used this cave due to the fact that it never flooded. Well.....this completes the Kayak and Nature Adventure excursion. We got back into the van and Ben drove us back towards town. We were ahead of schedule so he drove us through downtown ...
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas starr_sun... drove around the island for 2hrs, there's realllly nothing to see at allll. Then we went to the international bazaar, bought some hand-made stuff like a wooden cane (no idea why i thought sherri would want one). we also had conch critters at one of the stands, and frozen drinks since the age limit was only 16 or something. For dinner, we asked the cab driver to take us to a nice restaurant so we went to the world famous Pier One in ...
