... day as well, so he came for the meeting today. We hung out at the pub and talked Oxbridge stuff until about 9PM, at which point Tom got the great idea to stop by Tesco for more beer, and to show Rob the crazy American aisle. We had some good fun on the American aisle, pointing out all the crazy foods and recommending stuff to the Brits. Rob bought some Twinkies, and we've decided to make a video of Jessica and Emma tasting them for ...

It was still raining when I got to Stratford, but whatever. It was cool to be back! My first order of business was food, and I had already decided I wanted to visit our old tea house above the Crabtree and Evelyn in the center of town. ... other people had gone to bed before I thought to remind them to tidy up, so another point on tomorrow's To Do list.

But today wasn't all frustration. I did meet some cool kids, and on a whole they all seem really nice. I met a guy from Delaware who was cool and we chatted about east coast things, and then I gave him directions to Christ Church for a run. The kids all seem pretty nice this year. Hopefully it lasts.

For now, bed. Thank you, Lord.

... win! Simon just could not help himself and had to put an entry in. He did share most of them with people who had never tried them before though, but still...

Dinner was at the pub and this time we had none of the other Aussie Bookcrossers with us so we had a great time chatting to people from all over. People were fascinated by the distance we travelled to be in Oxford and then distances in Australia, the weather, the wildlife etc. Probably the usual stuff asked ...
